Philip Pullman
Sir Philip Pullman (born 19 October 1946) is an English author best known for the fantasy trilogy His Dark Materials and the companion series The Book of Dust. His work for children and young adults often explores philosophical and theological themes within richly imagined alternative worlds. He has received multiple awards for his writing and was knighted in 2019 for services to literature.
