Lucinda Riley

Lucinda Kate Riley (born Lucinda Edmonds) was a Northern Irish author, formerly an actress and ballet dancer, best known for her popular historical fiction novels including The Seven Sisters series. She published numerous bestselling novels translated into multiple languages; later in her career she collaborated with her son Harry Whittaker to rework earlier material. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2017 and died in 2021.
