Susan Elia MacNeal
Susan Elia MacNeal (born 1968) is an American bestselling author best known for the Maggie Hope series of historical mystery/spy novels set during World War II. A former book editor, she debuted with Mr. Churchill's Secretary (2012) and has since published multiple Maggie Hope novels as well as standalone fiction and nonfiction. Her work has won the Barry Award and received nominations for the Edgar, Macavity, Agatha, and ITW Thriller awards. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.
