Timothy Taylor
Timothy Taylor (born 1963) is a Canadian novelist, short‑story writer, journalist and creative writing professor. Born in Venezuela and raised in British Columbia and Alberta, he studied economics and later completed an MBA before leaving banking to pursue writing. His debut novel Stanley Park (2001) was a critical and commercial success; he has since published short fiction, several novels and non‑fiction on food and culture. He has taught in the UBC Creative Writing Program and has been awarded the Journey Prize among other recognitions.
